Our sheltered washroom includes:

  • 2 large sinks with counter space and storage

  • 2 power sockets and a large mirror for hairdryer use

Accessed through the washroom, our 'Bothy' offers a cosy wet-weather retreat with charging points, a kitchen table, freezer, and coin-operated washer and drying facilities.

Recreational Areas/Pets

Beyond our campsite grounds are over 100 acres of open shoreline to explore, with two access paths leading directly from site to sea.

The surrounding Salen bay’s calm waters are also perfect for kayaking, canoeing, paddleboarding, or a bit of shoreline fishing.

On-site BBQs and small raised fires are welcome— with protective block bases provided throughout the site.

A campsite for all ages, we have a childrens swing and large grassy areas perfect for families to play and make some memories.

Pets are part of the family and are always welcome too! We just ask to keep all furbabys on leads and clean up after them, to help us keep the site safe and enjoyable for everyone.

Please note: Salen bay, the shoreline paths and their surrounding grounds are not owned by Salen Bay Campsite and as such we do not accept any liability.

Campers are urged to always explore and enjoy safely.
